Here is a sampling of some flower photos I have taken over the years.

In art and design, there are many things we can learn from flowers, how they combine color, balance, how they work within their surroundings. I find flowers to be an excellent source of color pallets when I work on any kind of design project. Flowers can also make nice icons for web sites, illustrations for logos and even be great for background textures in a pinch.
